We are proud to share a milestone achievement in the field of Anatomic education. Together with the team of the Universiteit Maastricht Department of Anatomy (FHML) and spine surgeon Professor Henk van Santbrink, i-Med’s Digital Head-mounted Microscope was used to perform a live 3D session for a group of students, which was also recorded in 3D. To promote the unique feature of online learning we also established a very special live Zoom connection with Yasir Elhassan from the Taibah University College of Medicine in Saudi Arabia, where his team followed the Spine instruction dissection session interactively through the eyes of the surgeon. This is the most efficient way to share knowledge around the world and bring medical education to a higher level.
