Exciting Times at ICT&Health Conference!

Last week, we attended the ICT&Health conference at MECC Maastricht. We would like to thank the Maastricht UMC+ board for inviting us and hosting us at their exciting booth. This collaboration highlights our close partnership in developing our innovative Digital Head-Mounted Microscope (DHM) over the past six years, aiming to bring this unique imaging system for surgeons and dentists to market.

A special thanks goes to Prof. Nicole Bouvy for her unwavering commitment to conducting clinical trials and providing constructive advice; she proudly showcased the latest generation of the DHM. We would also like to express our gratitude to other MUMC surgeons, including Prof. Henk van Santbrink, Prof. Rutger Schols, Dr. Kevin Wevers, and Dr. Andreas Herrler, for their support and contributions.

The system delivers high-quality 3D images with variable zoom, making it an ideal tool for the future of digital surgery. 

The 3D technology is ideal for future training sessions and conferences, as it adds significant value by enhancing depth perception. The use of live-streamed and recorded 3D images is crucial for education and for improving daily practices
